Point me to the "Getting Started" Page?

Post by zero7starz » Thu Dec 13, 2012 3:53 am

Excuse me while I Internet Fail

I got hit with the whim of wanting to play minecraft, then decided I'd rather try playing it on my Vita and discovered "lamecraft."

The thing is, I can't find the "This is what you need, this is where you download it, and this is how you install it" thread (or site thanks for nothing, google.)

If anyone could point me to that thread/page/site I'd very very much appreciate it

Well, to play the game on the Vita, you will need VHBL (Vita Half-Byte Loader), which is a homebrew loader that needs an exploit (basically a bug found in the game that allows you to run homebrews) to run in the exploited game. The people who develop the exploit release it as a savedata that you're supposed to download and transfer to your PS Vita and load in the game to activate VHBL.
The thing is, all of them are patched, so you need to wait for a new exploit to be found.
To make sure you can get the exploited game before Sony removes it from the PlayStation Store, you can use this guide. If you think you already have the exploited game installed, download the savedata from here.

Also, the exploits are found in PSP games, so it's necessary to buy the game before you can use the exploit.
With an exploit you can download the game from this link
(it is the official Lamecraft download page.)
Download the zip file and without extracting it, transfer it to your Vita using this guide, then start the game and enjoy!
