I knew this is what you were getting at before reading your post, but you really might want to consider making that title a lot less mis leading...

As for your question, sure it's possible. Can it happen? Absolutely. Will it happen? It might, but not for quite some time as there doesn't appear to be anyone actively working on a new exploit.

If you're on 3.61 and want to use Henkaku it's easy. Sell your Vita and buy one on 3.60. That's how to use Henkaku on 3.61.
