Very sad news indeed... Such a powerful handheld with such potential... squandered by Sony. I believe this is pretty much the beginning of the end... Sure, we'll get 3rd party games for a couple of years... but there's not that much to look forward to...

Silver lining? I guess FW updates will be less frequent until they eventually stop... hopefully devs will fully crack
the VITA open sometime soon...

I love this machine it like a gameing console enbided in handheld so said to see it die this way.

I'm not surprised. Sony had no real idea what they wanted to do with the Vita when they made it, the saddest part is it was actually picking up in Japan and it's actually getting some great games.

I've actually been seeing a ton of games recently. Way more than the last year or so. Granted they are mostly rpg or jrpg and made by atlus or aksys but ill still take that. I don't see it dying anytime soon, at least not for another 3 years.
