If it wasn't for backward compatibility, I'd have nothing to play on my Vita right now. Backward compatibility is a great feature to promote the early days of a console... Specially when you consider the PSP had such great titles.

Yeah, I see nothing I want that has replay value so it looks like I am going to buy GTA LCS or VCS soon.

It's good to have Backwards Compatibility no doubt but I would rather get something New or Ported.

Porting games over from PS3 is what I would want most besides something new. Sure you would have to scale them down a lot but who cares. It is a handheld and if it was all about graphics then we should all be asking for a new console to be released because top of the line PC graphics are about 10x better at the moment.

It'd be the most amazing thing in the world if Sony let us take our hardcopy PS2 games and put them on our Vita. I'd be loving me some Kingdom HEarts 2 right now if it could happen, and Timesplitters FP.

Of course, that can't happen, considering it's Sony. But one could dream. As for PSP backwards compatibility . . . eh. I wouldn't miss it. PSX either.

anyone else notice that the remote play app gives the vita full ps1 support??
psn and original cd games..
yeah your still locked to walking distance of a ps3 but it is there
why wait till ps1 supported directly if you have both systems??
the quality is slightly down but not enough to affect game-play at all
have fun, stay safe

threads of fate works fine
i have both CD and PSN releases and both do about the same outside the load time difference on the cd of a few more seconds
but my ps3 is in my living room 8'' to 15''foot away from me(3 to 5 meters)
