Gravity Rush vs MGS HD

Postby JPFresh » Mon Jun 11, 2012 5:17 pm

I have never played a Metal Gear Solid game :o . I am interested in the stealth / strategic gameplay as I used to play Splinter Cell. I have not experienced the Gravity Rush demo yet (have had airplane mode on since SC3 exploit), but the gameplay looks interesting. Which game would you recommend I purchase first?

What order should I play MG in if I decide on that? If I were to download Peace Walker where does that game fit in the series?

The option of buying both has been rolling around in my head but I am interested to hear what this great community has to say!

I'd go gravity rush, MGS isnt exactly the game people make it out to be (regardless its a great series)

I'm not impressed with gravity rush, but I loved mgs back in the day, so you know where I stand
p.s. I would download the gravity rush demo and see if its for you (no worries as sony hasn't patched the sc3 exploit yet)

get it done before the 1.69 update rolls out as it does patch the sc3 exploit

Fun Fact: optional means you don't have to update if you don't want to ^__^

I've noticed a theme where-by FREE apps force update to "optional firmware". From memory, Skype App did this on the US store. Think this is S0ny's work around to compel updates on "optional".

For my money, I'm just waiting for Gravity Rush. It's at least a new character and a somewhat fresh/new(ish) concept, in the land of psn fed psp games and ps one games for your VITA.

im off work in 2 hours... gonna get gravity rush.... seems to make more valid of the vitas hardware. I don't think a glossy remake can be as good as a new ip designed for vita... also its been out awhile in japan with rave reviews.
