Jigkick uses MSID to decrypt all *.prx.enc files while loading. If you sign *.prx.enc by another MSID (ID of your MemoryStick), your card will also work.gregorio wrote:msid need to loading filessome1 wrote:Why is changing the MSID needed? The 88v3 still loads ipl from ms without it, so I don't see why it is needed. Unless the files themselves does some type of check on the MSID?

How can we do this? PRXDecrypter for the decryption and what program for encryption of the prx files?Frostegater wrote:Jigkick uses MSID to decrypt all *.prx.enc files while loading. If you sign *.prx.enc by another MSID (ID of your MemoryStick), your card will also work.

If this community has some sort of irc chat to discuss things interactively it would be great.
like minded coders will have better communication and solve things faster...
cheers to ErikPshat and Yoti for this!!!

Re-Signing them would require Kirk 7, which we don't have, and if we did have we would be able to sign kernel modules, and even (most likely) ipl's xP. Which would then render these leaked files useless.RaFa wrote:How can we do this? Hmm, a demo user mode exploit doesn't seem as important anymore, I wonder why... xP

Well, homebrews also use kirk 7, which we don't have, but we can sign it anyway, using CMAC trick. This won't work on .enc files?
Does someone exactly know how to decrypt those .enc files?
Also, if i understand, i can't run this on PSP-1000 model?
