I'm ok with the D-pad to right analog, but I don't think the R/L mapping is needed as predefined, since you can map those manually (also the pad to analog, but I guess another option won't hurt, and it is a very used one *cough* MGS *cough*).

I probably got confused since those are handled differently, why couldn't sony use the values for R1/L1 instead of R2/L2. Gonna test and fix it.

Can someone share that modified DS3remapper for right analog I dont understand why but no matter what I did nothing changed for my device from the begining.

edit: dang its working now, it was interfering with one of my plugins :?

Which plugin was it? Macrofire and joysens are most probably incompatible.

I undestand the problem its not about the plugin when you resume the game ds3remapper isnt working. One by one I activated all plugins there is no interference.

Either Sony will restart PSP-go production in the following days or second hand prices of that device will double :lol: I wish we had this plugin earlier this way go would be popular maybe. I was begging from everyone to do that in different PSP forums but nobody had the magical powers Total Noob have :D

I'll put a thread on the plugins section, but there's still the japanesse games issue which I don't think I can solve by myself (I have to do more testing though, I didn't have time).

Fixes the triggers issue. I simplified the code and used a simpler way (letting the remapper and libini handle the button codes) but still all the R1/R2 was so confusing I kept messing it up.
Also, while fixing that I noticed that I was sequentially remapping without keeping track of what was a remap and what a key press, so combinated remaps wouldn't work as they should when it had several buttons. I tested and should work fine now.
Also added the pad to right analog option.

Thanks a lot. Trigger remaps work totally fine. Now i can enjoy street fighter alpha 3 Max as it is intended to be. it is the best form of street fighter alpha 3 but without 3P,3K buttons and with not-so-good-for-fighters psp d-pad, it was nowhere to its potential. Now with DS3 and button remapping of it thanks to you and TN, i can at last enjoy it the way it is meant to be played.

Some more suggestions (the plugin is great for me now, these are just suggestions):

-a button combo to enable/disable the plugin (like macrofire)
-a button combo to enable remaps in remap2.ini remap3.ini etc. (multiple remap configurations) for example it might be like one time button combo enables the plugin, second goes to remap2.ini, third goes to remap3.ini, fourth disables the plugin. of course if there is no remap2.ini, it just disables the plugin at the second button press.

or another way to enable/disable multiple remaps.

EDIT: +1 to remapping right trigger to L1 + left analog request, though it should have some deadzone range else we would always have L1 pressed.

Suloku is there a way to handle games like Tomb Rider which has the camera movement attached to R1 + left analog ? And btw it making all buttons useless in PSX games such as Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil 2 but Silent Hill 2 worked fine.

Also FF0 and Monster Hunter series arent booting stucking at the first screen,

But its working perfectly on hunting games and Resistance. thanks for effort

I'm going back to college next week, and what I study has absolutely nothing to do with programming, so my time is going to be very limited, but I'll keep the multple config in mind. Right now I don't know if ini library portable is able to do that (probably it can).

I don't understand, please expand.

@ali_ihsan21: I'll check with a simple remap and TN's original code, sinse these issues seem to be related to how the function is patched and not my modifications.
