That's how I read it too. However, I think that would be a bit to much work for Sony.

Congratulation, KGSWS. Did you just sign a simple hello world or was it something else?

Thanks :)
My own (unreleased) registry editor app was first. Now also GU reflection example from PSP SDK and few others.

I am still failing to sign doom legacy, it runs on CFW but not on OFW.

Maybe it uses some CFW-only feature? Or other restriction?

I think it rejects "bigger" files (390kb fails, 90kb passes), i still need to do more tests on it.

Looks from the source it has some m33 specific things in it - not to mention kernel stuffs. After that has been removed maybe it'll work?

Also, nice work :-)

There seems to be problem with executable size only. Big data block is not problem.
Also, i was able to re-sign official demo (decrypt, encrypt again using my trick) and it worked. Maybe PSP toolchain outputs something strange for bigger code block?

Never mind. I was able to run 153kb file. This should be enough to make ELF loader.
I guess best idea is to make HBL working as "signed" app using this. Of course not now, there is already way to run HBL (or HEN) on latest firmware.

My idea is simple. Make HBL as "signed" app that has all possible user-mode exports, so we won't need to guess NIDS on any FW.

Nice idea, but that would be huge boost on HBL size, and that's not recommended.
