For me it's fun
I think i might have found 2 VSH vulnerabilities, but I'm too lazy to do all the junk to exploit them. And I'm just starting to learn MIPS

And if its of any help, i tried jailbreakme and redsn0w, but they didn't work for my model.
I did some looking and saw that the model is an MC. As you may or may not know, it is the one that is labeled as a 3rd gen but is really an overhauled 2nd gen(since apple never made an 8 GB 3rd gen model).

Long story short: green Pois0n is great for noobs/beginners. It takes you step by step through the entire process. Putting the iPod into DFU mode(correct me if it has a different name) only takes 30 seconds, and the file installation is a1 minute give or take.
