I’ve been using fantastic RM mod (by DaveX) of Mr. Mirakichi’s RIN 1.32 ,for almost 10 years. It’s really great and compatible gb/gbc emulator, and rewind is a very cool feature, especially fur such old timers like me But rewind length is not configurable (capped to 5MB), it is missing support for extra memory available in newer PSP models, also there are few irritating bugs (like crashes after changing games). So I decided to dig up the sources from old Japanese forums, give it some love and put on Github.

What's new:

• Sources ported to latest PSP SDK,
• Added dedicated menu for rewind,
• Adjustable memory and states amount in rewind,
• Support for extra memory (PSP Slim and higher, PS Vita with Adrenaline),
• Progress bar for actual rewind status,
• Credits screen ,

Bug fixes:

• Fixed crash when loading game with a different save size than the previous one,
• Fixed crash when putting PSP to sleep, while Turbo mode is engaged.

The latest release can be found on Github . Hopefully someone would find it useful. If anyone has an idea for improvement or find a bug, feel free to fill in an issue on Github , I’ll be more than happy to have some more fun with this lovely software

Its possible add fullscreen scanline mode?

Hi there, it should be possible, but I'm guessing that there would be some performance penalty (it'll require two operations per frame : scanline effect + scaling). I'll perform some profiling of existing implementation and let now if the full screen scanline makes sense. By the way : I've never got, why the scanline effect is attractive to anyone, checked it only once (horizontal stripes looks weird) and went back to normal fullscreen. Is there something I don't know here?

It becomes a clear picture with the scanline, it looks very nice. Although of course, someone may not like it. No secret, just a matter of taste, I will be very grateful for such an option, even if there will be some reduction in performance.

Hmm, just to double check : are you sure that you don't mean "Filtering"? Filtered image indeed looks more smooth.

No no, no confusion. About the bilinear filtering, I know, I do not like it ... For example, in the neo geo emulator, you cannot turn it off, which makes me very upset. For me, it's better to play with large pixels.
