I've read that async sound will take less cpu and have less choppy sound but then async also crashes the vita. A way to make async sound work on the vita was to delete the plugins in the main folder of the emulator since they also eat alot of the cpu but then async also has choppy sound.
I searched and searched for a solution and this is the first topic i've ever opened myself, the rest i've found the answers in older topics but i am really despered to make this work.

Thanks for your quick reply!SteelWolf89 wrote:First, I got a few questions you'll need to answer.
Which version of Daedalusx64 do you have?
What games are you trying to play?
Where did you download the roms from?
The answers to those questions will dictate what is causing the issue.
Daedalusx64 R1909, looking at your stated version (R1878) and seeing a purple color makes it compatible with TN-V i guess ive overlooked that on version R1909
All games stated in the compability list in a blue color wich means they should be doing fine (exept for the ones that are stated not to work with sound)
The roms are fine, they function properly on project64 on PC
apparently async only works when deleting the mediaengine.prx wich is reported to not being emulated in eCFW so if i understand correctly there will never be a fix for sound
I also just found out while having trouble with my psp iso/cso that vita FTP will cause corruption with larger files, transferring them trough qcma solved that problem,
will try this later with my N64 roms they are not very large but larger then the older console roms.
