Something similar to PicoDrive or GPSP, where you create a text file and add the code and what it does, and then load it from the game.
Is there any way to do this in any of the PSP's SNES emulators?

Try this emulator

A useful cheat site that exports the cheats to the emulator you're using

It seems that the SNES .cht files have characters in place of the codes when opened in Notepad, like a rectangle with a circle, the trademark and Mars symbols, and the tilde.
So, I don't know how to make the .cht files other than by entering the codes in emulators.
I know there are sites with the .cht files already ready to use, but they don't have the cheats, for a few games, that I was looking for.

a. Load the ROM you want cheats one.
b. Then open the menu and select CHEATS > Add Code.
c. Enter the code you want, then give it a description, then click ADD.
d. Do the same for all your other codes. Remember that GG codes need the "-" inserted.
e. Once you've added all your codes, hit SAVE.
That will create a .CHT file in the main zSNES directory.

I did find it elsewhere, but I thought I would point that out anyway.

Snes9xTYLmecm includes Media Engine, Snes9xTYLcm doesn't include media engineGeminiContractor wrote: As for rev.26, it doesn't run well on PSP, from what I read, since it's missing the media engine.
So download the mecm one.qwikrazor87 wrote:One uses the media engine and the other doesn't, the one that uses the media engine (mecm) is for the PSP, the one that doesn't is for the Vita's eCFW.

There is no mecm version above rev.25, as far as I know.Conjo wrote:Snes9xTYLmecm includes Media Engine, Snes9xTYLcm doesn't include media engineGeminiContractor wrote: As for rev.26, it doesn't run well on PSP, from what I read, since it's missing the media engine. So download the mecm one.qwikrazor87 wrote:One uses the media engine and the other doesn't, the one that uses the media engine (mecm) is for the PSP, the one that doesn't is for the Vita's eCFW.
Thanks, I didn't see that.rainof89 wrote:The site I sent you allows you to check/uncheck the codes you want added and converts it to cht format. Find the game you want, check the top right hand corner of the website and change super_everdrive to snes9x format and click the button next to it to download
