Are there any SNES emulators for the PSP that let you...

...add cheats through a file, instead of entering them in the emulator?

Something similar to PicoDrive or GPSP, where you create a text file and add the code and what it does, and then load it from the game.
Is there any way to do this in any of the PSP's SNES emulators?

Snes9xTYLmecm 0.4.2 reads the snes9x emulator cht file. You need to rename it as your rom file

Try this emulator

viewtopic.php?f=47&t=31564

A useful cheat site that exports the cheats to the emulator you're using

Thank you.

Could you tell me if there is a program to create .cht files?
It seems that the SNES .cht files have characters in place of the codes when opened in Notepad, like a rectangle with a circle, the trademark and Mars symbols, and the tilde.
So, I don't know how to make the .cht files other than by entering the codes in emulators.
I know there are sites with the .cht files already ready to use, but they don't have the cheats, for a few games, that I was looking for.

By the way, it seems that the download link for Snes9xTYLmecm 0.4.2 Mod Rev.25, in the link that you linked to, doesn't work.
I did find it elsewhere, but I thought I would point that out anyway.

a. Load the ROM you want cheats one.
b. Then open the menu and select CHEATS > Add Code.
c. Enter the code you want, then give it a description, then click ADD.
d. Do the same for all your other codes. Remember that GG codes need the "-" inserted.
e. Once you've added all your codes, hit SAVE.

That will create a .CHT file in the main zSNES directory.

Thank you.

As for rev.26, it doesn't run well on PSP, from what I read, since it's missing the media engine.

Snes9xTYLmecm includes Media Engine, Snes9xTYLcm doesn't include media engine

So download the mecm one.

The site I sent you allows you to check/uncheck the codes you want added and converts it to cht format. Find the game you want, check the top right hand corner of the website and change super_everdrive to snes9x format and click the button next to it to download

So download the mecm one.
There is no mecm version above rev.25, as far as I know.
When I try to download the one under the cm version that says mecm, it still downloads "s9xTYLcm091127_mod_r26.zip", which seems to not have the 'me'.

Thanks, I didn't see that.

Well, I've gotten everything that I wanted to work now, so, thanks for all your help rain and Conjo! :D
