Installed the SNES Emulator...Why Game Screens Blacked Out?

I installed the SNES emulator and put the ROMS for a couple of games I wanted as people told me in my SNES/GBA thread.

However, when I load the games (Chrono Trigger and Secret of Evermore), certain screens are completely black. Although they are functional as in I can move cursors etc, it's annoying that I cannot see.

For example, I hear the opening clock ticking in Chrono Trigger but I don't actually see the pendulum On the main screen and setting screens of the game, it is black. When inputting my name I see no menu, but I can type and select letters etc to form a name.

The same happens with Secret of Evermore.

Is this a flaw with the ROMs themselves or the emulator?

I had just installed/updated to 6.60 PRO-C prior to inputting the emulator and ROMS as instructed.

Can someone help me? In the meantime, I've deleted the Emulator and ROMS from my Memory Stick.

remember the SNES emu's may work very well but there not perfect

while some games will run great other might be very laggy or only half work (which seems to be your case)
heck some games will not work at all

my suggestion is either try a different game or a different version of the game's rom

i had to play a bit with the emulator menu, changing setting before finding the right ones...but after you activated 2.3 stuff then games will be perfect... i can't remember wich options but try changing the renderer
