Hitachi products

Post by Mr. X » Mon Nov 29, 2010 5:01 pm

Does anyone know if Hitachi is a good company to go with when it comes to data storage? The reason I ask is because I intend to upgrade my 1TB hard drive to a 2TB one. The current drive is made by Buffalo and it has lasted me fine for 2 years, but recently it has been playing up a bit and I don't want to lose over 900GB of random files. I can either go with a Hitachi 2TB drive on sale for £94, or the next cheapest which is a Seagate 2TB drive, for £150 :?.
