Once I find a decent Distro, I'll share a screen of what I chose.

Well have you used Linux before? If so how comfortable are you with the command line?

You seem like you're knowledgeable on Linux hella more than I am. Which one should I do?

Is just bad experiences with the dependency system of rpm packages. It becomes very difficult to install a rpm package that isn't in the default repos. I know that no Linux distro will have all the packages or every version that i need but it should try to manage correctly those packages (it has problems even with 3rd party packages made for the same distro).

@XxGodOfWar2xX: dunno. The only advice that i could give you is to install one of the big distros and skip the specialized ones. You will have more support and it makes no difference in the end. For example, why install Backtrack when you can simply install wireshark/aircrack/nagios/etc and have the same functionality with a well supported distro? Why install Xubuntu/Lubuntu when one can simply install Xfce/LXDE in Ubuntu/Debian?

My installation flopped, so I got to do it again. I'll repost after I redo it.

EDIT: Reinstalling again. This time I figured out what was wrong after reading an article. I couldn't do it like I used to. I actually have to er...do it a different way.

Edit II: Done! Install complete. Figures I had to go in and change the bootloader. (Oh, I also figured out how to disable SecureBoot, without disabling UEFI)

Mint is pretty nice, it's the one I'm using at my desktop computer. I like Cinnamon desktop manager, it's a good mix of GNOME 2 and 3. And Steam for Linux works fine too :D
I wanna lots of mov al,0xb
