Nothing.

Mac OS X is WAY more stable than Windows. Apple sold Microsoft the license to use the windowing system. Also Apple is very known about innovation, and I must say Mac OS X really looks nice, clean, fast and intuitive. Besides being stable and one of the most secure OS all around. So yes, it's better in almost every aspect.

Except gaming, power, and price. Though I guess if you were to put Mac OS X on a pc than all 3 of these would be eliminated... Either way I want my gaming so I can't use Mac or Linux really.

Don't forget you sacrifice a lot of control for simplicity. If it wasn't for gaming and adobe design software I would use Linux 100% of the time.

It's not.
Then why do people pay for Macs come to mind. $1000+ machine to play crappy games and run useless and proprietary software,
Or build/buy a PC for $600+ to play great games and run every software and emulation?
no one buy mac comps... they need money for iphones.... 1+2=1000

Well for gaming Microsoft has already the monopole. Blame the game development companies, not really Linux or Apple. About power, Mac OS offers much more for almost the same price as Windows. Remember we're talking about the OS, not the hardware

I actually do not use Mac OS X anymore because I do not like their closed philosophy. I do not own any Apple machine/device. But I used it on a web developing job I had where all machines were running Apple's Mac OS X.

Runs better on VirtualBox, I used it to make a couple of simple apps for iPhone.
