Help Building a New PC

Post by dan369 » Fri Aug 17, 2012 4:28 pm

Hi Guys,

So currently i really want to get a new pc build sorted. The issue is, im not very good at keeping "uptodate" with what's happening with PC parts, and whats good for my budget.
Specifically im looking for a middle-range PC. Coming in at around the £250-350 mark. Currently im not looking for a GPU or Disk drive in the build, for my purposes as long as it has some form of integrated intel HD graphics, that'll do for now. (*Though eventually i will buy a GPU, i have a bit of a tight budget at the moment, and im not the biggest PC gamer or play the latest PC releases im more preferred to buy most genres of games on console anyway).

In terms of the parts I already have planned to buy;
Case: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-E ... 7AG5TSVCE1
RAM: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ8GX3 ... 4RIM2BJVS4

The £250-350 budget would be for the CPU,Motherboard & Power supply. As for a Hard-drive, I do indeed already have a spare one, which I'll use for now but upgrade at again a later date.

Basically I'm just confused really on what works with what, my fear is that I buy the wrong components that don't fit together.Especially concerning the right type of processor for a specifc motherboard and then a current power supply. So any helping is greatly appreciated :D
