my gaming computer had been running fairly well lately, and i did kinda suspect something was coming up, since my experience tells me, that whenever windows is running at its best, it almost always bows under when least expected ... and so it did
today i noticed my friends pc telling about a new nvidia update, and since it was stated on nvidias homepage, that they recommended this driver update for users playing newest games like bf3 (which i play a lot), i thought ... why not upgrade and maby get an increase in fps?
and hers why i should have never done that and just left it as is ... course once i had ran the update the first time (and it actually said successful finish), i thought id take a game of bf3, but now got a message saying that some nvidia files were corrupt and my gtx 580 acually didnt comply with ether dx 9, 10 or 11???
now i began getting a bit angry, becourse how could this happen, it said successful finish wtf??
well ill just reinstall the older nvidia driver again and be done with it, since there is an option to do a "clean" install, where its supposedly should remove all older and/or conflicting software ... but no no no, thats not how win 7 and nvidia driver software works, course now whenever i try to run the updater, it just immediately say "NVIDIA DRIVER INSTALLATION FAILED" and i couldn't even uninstall the software in any way.
sollution ... dont use windows ... however since theres still no way of playing bf3 on linux and propperply never will be, i kinda have to wast idk how many hours installing windows (again) ... god i hate windows and especially all the windows updates ... reminds me of the greek mythic creature called a hydra ... sigh
