I will say by far, one of the best os's out there. I currently have it installed myself.

Short of making a hibernation file everytime it ALT-TABs which would be non-viable (even on fast writing SSDs,) this seems suspect.XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:you can have programs like games and such running in the background with no memory used at all!
If the search function works more reliably (finds all files, not just some,) and doesn't lag after 3 images pass by, then this is good news.XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:Windows Explorer looks like it's been improved on some level.
There is little other way to do an OS, short of all console.XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:They still have the desktop around for the most part.
This is how I ruined the firmware on a CD-ROM drive several years ago. What makes this safer?XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:VHD's can be mounted to another disc like local disc (E:\)
Can you provide a raw OS RAM needed comparison to WInXP/Win7?XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:Memory Friendly on my end anyway.

Not if you're using it on a tablet!jc_gargma wrote:XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:IE 10.

Ok, but which OS's have you tried so far?XxGodOfWar2xX wrote:I will say by far, one of the best os's out there.
Yeah sure, everyone has a touch screen on their main PC... And wasn't this supposed to be a PC OS? And usually touch friendly = sucks with mouse, so it's either great on tablets or great on PC, but not both... unless proven otherwise, of course. Most of such touch GUIs sucks because you need to perform quite more actions for the same result without touch GUIs... Just check iOS or Unitynisarg_kolhe wrote:Not if you're using it on a tablet! Its basically designed for touch controls, and if much better that iOS or Android stock browser...
Well actually NTFS is still updated to introduce new features, and honestly speaking, being Microsoft's, it's not that badXian Nox wrote:that outdated filesystem called NTFS

It was supposed to be a PC OS, but it seems Microsoft is neglecting the desktop!m0skit0 wrote:Yeah sure, everyone has a touch screen on their main PC... And wasn't this supposed to be a PC OS? No that it's bad for most users, but definitely not suitable for power users (the whole touch interface thing actually -for now?-)
