Just about our school. They changed their way of teaching. We arent able to choose our own language since teaching was "hard" this way for teachers.
Now we get languages wich are: PHP, C#, HTML5(HTML, JavaScript, CSS) XML and (My)SQL. Now i certenly do not think they are bad, but i hoped atleast for an extra option to get other languages in it (like Java).

Please tell your teachers that markup languages aren't programming languages, then get yourself some C tutorials and start reading them.

You will only learn 2 thinks(C#) and (PHP, HTML, JS, CSS, XML and SQL). These are all connected. Java isn't my most beloved language to be fair, so I won't say anything about it. But to learn C or Java it takes more then only the languages, you need a broad base of mathematical understanding. Its one thing to write a hello world its a different thing to write a program/game with 10 people for 3 years.
