Awesome Windows 8 is. Upgrade everyone should.

LOL at that type of typing. You mean the non-RT version, because RT really sucks!

(The non-RT can be touch by a touch display & includes a desktop, while the RT which is for tablets & only has the Start Screen)
You DO realise that Windows RT is not Windows 8 (although they may look similar and Ms claims that it is a tablet windows 8)?
In fact,RT is ARM exclusive.
Now back on topic (

)
Unless you have a touch supported screen,I would stay away from anything related to MUI (does not work well without touch screen)
Instead,I would just try to find desktop versions of the stuff I need (the Windows 8 desktop enviroment is the same as Windows 7 with a lack of Aero).If it had better mouse config,I would even consider using it...since it does look interesting.
I can safely say that Microsoft did a good job on this OS.It boots out of the box with good boot and loading times.Also,I did not have to install most of hw drivers,since they were there already (they did not need an update back when I first installed 8).Well,as I could not stand not having a start menu,I just installed classic shell (because it was the only one not bishing up when I tried to configure it

)
It is also pretty stable.Like I said in some other thread,I only got crashes when I touched stuff I shouldn't had (tinkering with clock speeds and various drivers et cetera)
