Here is how to run NBA 2K13 with Dual Core at 45+ FPS

Post by Spambot » Wed Oct 17, 2012 1:07 am

I know most here will not play this game. But, for people who do i found a way to do it. First my specs.
CPU: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon (tm) HD Graphics (2 CPU's), ~1.6 GHZ ("Note, the requirment for GHz is 2.8 Ghz for Vista / Win 7 or 2.4 Ghz for Windows XP")
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics Card

Now Go To: C:\Users\*Enter Your Computers Username*\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K13\Saves
If you can not find this folder. Do this:
Open Windows Explorer,
Paste this in the Search Bar Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization,
It will bring you to the Apperarance and Personalization menu,
Click Show Hidden Folders and Files 'It is under Folder Options',
It will bring up a menu that says Folder Options,
Click Show hidden files, folders and drivers,
Now click Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended) and
Finally Click Apply
Here is the Easy Part: Open the Config file with Notepad.
Now just copy this:
VIDEOSETTING_ADAPTERINDEX = 0
VIDEOSETTING_WIDTH = 1366
VIDEOSETTING_HEIGHT = 768
VIDEOSETTING_COLORDEPTH = 32
VIDEOSETTING_VSYNC = 0
VIDEOSETTING_REFRESHRATE = 60
VIDEOSETTING_WINDOWMODE = 1
VIDEOSETTING_MSAA = 0
VIDEOSETTING_MSAAQUALITY = 0
VIDEOSETTING_MAXTEXTURESIZE = 256
VIDEOSETTING_DEPTHOFFIELD = 0
VIDEOSETTING_FLOORREFLECTION = 0
VIDEOSETTING_PLAYERLOD = 1
VIDEOSETTING_STADIUMLOD = 1
VIDEOSETTING_CROWDDETAIL = 0
VIDEOSETTING_SHADERDETAIL = 1
VIDEOSETTING_SIDELINECHARACTER = 1
VIDEOSETTING_ANISOTROPICQUALITY = 16
VIDEOSETTING_PARTICLEFFECT = 2
VIDEOSETTING_AVERAGE_FRAMERATE = 100
VIDEOSETTING_FORCE_HDR_ON_INTEL_GPU = 0
MAIN_LOGICAL_THREAD = 0
GPU_LOGICAL_THREAD = 1
STALL_CPU_ON_END_FRAME = 1
LIMIT_FLIP_QUEUE_LENGTH = 2
LIMIT_FLIP_QUEUE_LENGTH_SLEEP = 0
STICKYKEY = 510
TOGGLEKEY = 62
FILTERKEY = 126
ACCESSIBILITYKEY_SAVED = 1
LANGUAGE = -482460772
WINDOW_X = 0
WINDOW_Y = 0
STARTUP_ACCOUNT_REGISTRATION = 1
PERFORMANCE_BENCHMARK = 1
ADJUST_VIDEO_SETTINGS = 1
ADJUST_LANGUAGE = 1
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_0 = 3
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_1 = 2
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_2 = 1
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_3 = -1
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You, will want to change the Screen resolution to your screen resolution.
Now, load the game up. Do not perform a Performance Benchmark test. Just load a quick game.
I do not know, how it is for quad cores. This is STRICTLY for dual core.
If you have any problems/questions feel free to write them!
