I've come here to ask a question.
In an effort to cleanse my Android phone of it's impurities, I have decided that the first step to do was to remove my Google account that's "integrated" into my phone. At first, I tried to do this but, my phone wants me to reconsider doing this by a "If you do this, I'll do this in spite of that" situation where it'll reset itself completely. This is surely not an option for me. So, I need to gain an upper hand by asking you all, how can remove my Google account from my phone without resetting my phone back to stock?
Thanks,
waratte
P.S. Don't tell my Android phone I posted this.
P.P.S Also, while we are on the subject of Android, I want to ask another question.
When creating a new contact, why is it that I can only create under my Google account? This troubles me as I'd prefer my contacts to be only on my phone and it only, not in the hands of Google. If I indeed were to remove my Google account, would I be unable to create another contact again?
