I found this article on delicious.comI am surprised that no one else remembers that cell-phone are supposed to all start using the micro-USB in 2011. Apple was one of the companys that said they would use micro USB. All previous iPhone have used the 30pin dock connector. Apple could just use an adapter so if you have a micro USB charger you can use it. For that matter what about the iPod touch 4g and iPad 3? Maybe Apple will do away with the 30 pin dock connector, the original iPods used a firewire connection.
