The router isn't configured correctly OR they doesn't have an internet.

Where are you connecting to? A router, WiFi hotspot, or your neighbors house? :D
Are you sure it's not your phone?
If not, you may need to get closer to the access point.

You are probably connecting to a router but does not broadcast any internet connection. Maybe your connecting to a "Local Only" ap.

Most likely you dont have DHCP running on the router (the fancy "Obtain IP address automatically" for Windows lovers) and need to configure the TCP/IP settings manually.

I m connecting to my WiFi modem the internet works fine on my psp and laptop, and after surfing over the net i found that other phones(same model) are also facing same problems.

Sounds like the DNS server cannot be found. So maybe the phone is trying to use some fixed server instead of the one supplied with DHCP (which would be your router and ultimately dsl provider).

Can you change the DNS server address in the Wifi or network settings? I don't have this phone, so I have no idea how and what you can do.

So that setting is on automatic now?

You could try to enter the address of your router as the DNS address.
