What is a data plan for?
Sorry im a noob on smartphones and had never added a data plan for one. Do you need that plan to download apps like facebook/twitter and for games using the 3g/4g network, because i use the wifi in my phone to download them,or is it unnecessary and money wasting?

its for accessing a 3G/4G network
in other words if you plan on using anything that requires internet access when not connected to a wifi point then yes you would need it
make sure to study up on it as you should be careful not to go over your limit as you will get charged a booty loud >__<
