Bad flashed galaxy ace

Post by leojava » Sun Mar 18, 2012 8:54 pm

Hi guys 3 days ago i rooted my galaxy ace and flashed the clockworkmod recovery, until here all ok but this morning I decided to flash a cooked ROM.
I did a backup with cwm and searched for a secure site where to download a rom, then the phone got messed up and I almost died. It got locked to the boot-logo and with adb logcat I saw this:

Code: Select all

- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -
I tried restoring the backup but it didn't solved the problem.
three hours and more of googling and xdaing and everything didn't helped
Is anyone out here that can help me to solve this problem?
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

PS sorry for any english error

although no one replied to this topic, I've found the solution and now my phone happily run cyanogenmod 7.2 :D

for the interested:
I've fixed my phone turning it on in download mode (on the Galaxy Ace: press POWER+HOME+VOL- and release ONLY the POWER button when your phone's display lights up)
and flashing the Samsung Stock firmware (I don't know if I can post it but in any case I don't remember where to get it  ) via Odin (Windows-only  )

sorry for any english error
