LG Optimus L9 brick help

My friend bricked his T-Mobile LG Optimus L9
He rooted his phone successfully then used a font installer and now it boots up to the LG logo then the T-Mobile screen and stays on the T-Mobile screen
I tried booting in recovery but it just reboots after the android guy.
Any help?
