Wagic for Android - Keybindings and Story Mode

Post by melektaus » Sun Jun 30, 2013 7:58 pm

I've got Wagic on my Droid Charge, and I find it almost impossible to play because of the key bindings. I only have two buttons available for me to bind to, so I never have every button I need to play the game. Is there any way around that at this point?

Also, whenever I try Story Mode, it freezes and then terminates, so . . .not sure what's with that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed this problem when I used it on my Xperia Play... I wonder if it may not be supported to some phones.

Freeze in the story mode is a known bug that was recently fixed in the SVN.
check here for SVN builds, you might be lucky:
http://wololo.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31620

As far as buttons are concerned, I don't have a single button on my phone and I can play ok, the game was made on Android to not require a single besides "back". "X" (which is in general "cancel") is simulated with swipe down. "start" (to show most menus) is the android back button.

Does this help?
If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

Sorry for bumping this thread as a new user but a nice workaround I've found for Wagic on Android is to use the PPSSPP emulator (https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... spp.ppsspp). The emulator had no problems running Wagic and I'm sure it'll run most homebrew games perfectly fine. The use of the on-screen buttons for the game are also very useful and you can modify the key-bindings as you please as well. Hope this is of some use to others. :D
