Re: Anyone working on the Xbox 360?
The efuse(s) that have been blown only prevent the dashboard from being downgraded to an exploitable version, they don't make it impossible for homebrew to run on the console. FreeBoot is available for newer dashboards as long as the console has had the JTAG hack applied. At the moment, homebrew cannot be run on Xbox 360 consoles running a kernel above and including 84xx.
Re: Anyone working on the Xbox 360?
no way with slims as well because the dashboard that comes with it is newer than 7371. Also not be possible with 2009 phat xbox 360 because the dashboard also is newer than 7371

Do you mean FreeStyle Dash?
At the moment, homebrew cannot be run on Xbox 360 consoles running a kernel above and including 84xx.
Ive seen a video where se7ensins run homebrew/games with xexmenu on a 360 with the 12611 dash

Re: Anyone working on the Xbox 360?
FSD is not related to efuses at all. The purpose of FreeBoot and the likes is to allow an JTAGged Xbox 360 to run a *modified* version of the newer dashboards so they have access to the newer features and can still run unsigned code.b1gh3ad wrote:The efuse(s) that have been blown only prevent the dashboard from being downgraded to an exploitable version

Re: Anyone working on the Xbox 360?
but what do you mean by the downgrading bit?
Re: Anyone working on the Xbox 360?
I mean the once efuses are blown when updating the dashboard, it is impossible to run any version of the dashboard relased before the one you are currently running. Put as simply as possible: You cannot downgrade you Xbox 360 dashboard, say 12625, to, say 7371 (exploitable) as the efuses have blown which means that older dashboards cannot run.b1gh3ad wrote:but what do you mean by the downgrading bit?
If you still don't understand me then look on Google.
Re: Anyone working on the Xbox 360?
So what your saying is if you on 7371 then you can downgrade the dashboard back to any version below it?anc96 wrote:I mean the once efuses are blown when updating the dashboard, it is impossible to run any version of the dashboard relased before the one you are currently running. If it is JTAGged, yes, theoretically.b1gh3ad wrote:So what your saying is if you on 7371 then you can downgrade the dashboard back to any version below it?anc96 wrote:I mean the once efuses are blown when updating the dashboard, it is impossible to run any version of the dashboard relased before the one you are currently running.
