xbox360: gba/snes/sega emulators? still use xbox live?

Post by damien907 » Tue Oct 15, 2013 11:47 am

im wondering if i can find a way to install a gba, snes, psx, sega genesis emulator on my xbox 360 without forfeiting my xbox live online capabilites.

i use xbox live a lot and wouldnt want to lose it becuase of modding my xbox with the custom firmware or whatever, if i understand correctly though, this is the only way you can run emulators on your xbox 360 right?

or can i still run an emulator on it while still being able to play my xbox 360 games ive bought on xbox live.

thanks guys!

Nope sorry but there is no free way of bringing a RGH/JTAG or what haves you online for now
there is a way but it involves paying some people way too much money :/

ah i see, thats what i figured.

would you think that it would be better to go with an xbox 360 for playing those old games, or an original xbox? i suppose i could get another xbox 360 just the core system to play emulators on, or alternatively i could get an original xbox, i just like the controllers on the 360 a bit better, but i have been doing some research and it seems like the regular xbox is pretty well set up for playing emulators, havent heard much about the psx on 360, but i assume it plays gba, gbc, snes and sega games just fine.

Most systems up to N64 work fine on on the OG Xbox but yea I also like the Xbox 360 controller
I would assume the Xbox 360 would run things far better considering its the better hardware but I don't know as I have never had modded Xbox 360

if there is anything specific you would like to know about the OG Xbox regarding emulation then feel free to ask ^__^
