Okay, I'm a avid 360 Gamer & modder. There is a 4gb console & a 250 Gb console bundle. The 4gb console has 4gb of onboard memory while the 250gb console has no onboard memory & a 250gb HDD inserted in the bottom. Aside from the amount of memory there is no difference in the system itself.
Your best bet is to buy the 4gb console for $100 less, then spend $50 on a 250gb Western Digital HDD & use 360 HDD Hacker to turn it into a 360 format HDD. It takes about a minute to install in the bottom of your console. If you don't plan on downloading DLC or installing games to the HDD, 4gb will be more room than you will ever need for game saves & is fine to start with.
