when did you hear that? the 3ds mode hasn't been hacked but the ds mode was hacked within one day

i saw it here:
http://gbatemp.net/t280544-3ds-hacking-faq
also, if people claim to have made a 3ds rom loader but won't release it or even give us proof, i call bull. think about it, what would be the point of saying they've made a 3ds rom loader if they won't either release it or even show proof?

I read some posts on another forum that there is R4 for 3DS but no 3DS roms, So basically there is no use of the R4

. Oh well I guess we'll have to wait if we want to backup our 3DS games...

but you can use the flashcard for playing ds roms and homebrew. you'd just have to wait for 3ds roms and homebrew. 3ds mode hasn't been hacked yet

It doesn't need internet connection. Just a slight signal, outgoing from the built-in transmitter, and there you have it.

The transmitter is not the problem here, it's the receiver. If there's nothing to receive your signal (in this case, your wifi router connected to your ISP connected to Nintendo), where do you think the signal goes? To Apple/Nintendo's secret mega antenna on the Moon?
If you need US PSN Codes,
this technique is what I recommend.
