I don't know.. Seems like every game uses this technique . The only one I remember now that does not require what you said is "Runaway: A Road Adventure". Are you referring to something like that? if yes, then I'm afraid that though it's fun sometimes, I was bored playing it. Or you can give some examples...

That would be helpful for me to understand and try one.
