OnLive microconsole

Post by dannemp » Sun Nov 21, 2010 3:49 pm

What do you think about the new onlive console? and about cloud gaming in general?

I think it is a interesting idea but there is no way to hack such console, you need a high speed internet connection and other minuses(pluses also) will come with the time.

Links, pictures, info? I for one haven't heard of this and it'd be nice to know exactly what I'm supposed to be discussing.

It wouldn't be a good idea. For one, you can't play games without the internet(that puts me out), you have to have a fast internet connection(that puts me out even further) and it'll cost a lot of money in the long run with all of the plans(high speed internet and the game plan).I don't know anyone who has a 5 Mb/s internet connection or a 3d tv either.
I think PS cloud would be my best option if they don't decide to kick out physical media and downloadable games.

Here are some links: http://www.gamespot.com/special_feature ... Btitle%3B9 and http://gear.ign.com/articles/113/1135364p1.html

Plus about high speed internet: This is the present and the future( it is ironic that i live in the poorest country in europe but also the country with one of the most high density of fiber link users)

These Micro-consoles work very similar to the PSPdisp homebrew. Except that, Micro-consoles are faster and more reliable.
If I had the money, I would get this! Can't wait to see if there is a PScloud!
