Xbox 360 vs. PS3

in my opinion i think xbox 360 slim and ps3 slim both look good

The only reason why i like Xbox 360 is that the games i frequrently such as L4D2, L4D, TF2 play on PC are on Xbox 360 but not on PS3

TF2 is for PS3 too. As part of the Orange box. But the 360 and PS3 version is outdated.

Buddies.. In the end it all depends upon the type of games you play. In my consideration, if I'm going for any FPS games (I was a hardcore PC gamer though ), I will definitely choose XBOX, but if I'm talking about Third person, I would like to go with PS3. For FPS games, XBox controller has firm grip and I love it. I guess, PS3 has powerful hardware and very good graphics. I never cared for online gaming coz I don't own any of these two consoles. I used to go to game parlor/cafe to play XBox or PS3.

But again, it depends up on what you like to play. Game matters the most.

when you get past all the fanboy b.s., both consoles are good and have advantages over the other. it really just comes down to personal preference. hardware wise the ps3 is a bit more powerful (plus blu-ray support), but for online play the xbox 360 seems to have a better community in the xbl. some people like free services, while others think its better to have paid services ("you get what you pay for" ideals). both consoles have great exclusive games, like god of war and uncharted for ps3 and halo for xbox 360. both consoles also have built-in wifi (with the release of the xbox 360 slim) and support for 3rd party applications like netflix.

personally ive owned both, and either way you are going to get a great console, so enjoy.

According to me PS3 is better. It has more advanced features. It comes with two hard models one is 60GB and the other is 20GB. Many people enjoy to play games on PS3.
