i wouldnt say one is better than other. In the end it depends on what type of games you like determines if you get xbox 360 or PS3

PS3, why pay for online? what about that high internet connection that you have to pay for? the PS3 have more features but i love the xbox controller grip. 
oh well, it doesn't matter to me since i have xbox live and psn.

Owning a few of one and only one of the other, my view may be a bit biased. I don't use my PS3 a great deal, but I use my main Xbox almost every day, mainly due to Halo Reach. I've recently picked up Killzone 3 for the PS3, but I've not had much time to play it.
In my opinion, Xbox Live is much better than PSN, especially the XBL Marketplace compared to the PlayStation Store. I also believe the Xbox 360 Slims look a lot nicer than the PS3.

Sony's PS3, most definitely. As the company that owns this franchise is my favorite.

in my opinion i think xbox 360 slim and ps3 slim both look good
The only reason why i like Xbox 360 is that the games i frequrently such as L4D2, L4D, TF2 play on PC are on Xbox 360 but not on PS3

I'm in for the PS3, I love the flavors of the PS3's list of exclusive games (MGS 4, Heavy Rain, and the upcoming The Last Guardian). PSN vs. XBL? I believe PSN is great for a free service, and XBL is great for a paid service.
