Microsoft found ATARI's shame (E.T.)

Not long ago, Acid_Snake wrote his 2nd part of 8 Days of Gaming. I remember, that he wrote about the Atari 2600 game E.T. and its flop. Now it's really funny, that Microsoft was able to confirm the rumour about the destination of these cartridges. I really look forward to know how many of the 4 million unsold cartridges they will find in the desert.

This is no rumor, It was in all sorts of news back then but nobody either cared or believed it
MS just saw a press opportunity which to be honest I have to commend them for.

Sorry, I haven’t conducted a research about it. I’ve just quoted to article.
But Microsoft should have other worries than digging for old cartridges in the desert, if a 5 year old child is able to fool the security system of their next-gen console, even if they have fixed this issue by now.

no they just saw the AVGN was going to make a movie about it (and actually investigate) and decided to steal the idea, like they always do
