I have a wii u and I love it. Call of duty is sublime, I lost faith in cod until I got it for wii u. No screaming cussing 13 year olds to be seen often. Also got mario u and it is fantastic in hd. You cant forget thr back catalog of wii games also, I bought skyward sword and smash bros brawl with it as well. The controller isnt gimmicky at all either I actually thought it would be but its very good, screen looks absolutely great too and being able to play cod and mario without a tv made my life all so much easier. So yes get it but I woild say get the deluxe like me cause one, its black two for only 50 more you grt a charging cradle, console stand and a free 60 dollar game. Like I always say dont knock it till you try it
