i could see cartage making a return to consoles as they are smaller sized and larger storage and faster load times and cheaper now and less heat
comes with its own security by design
the new resolution thing isn't new as many TVs already support larger then 1080p
in fact my computer monitor supports Quad HD
but the problem then goes to the game devs as they have to spend even longer on graphics
it already takes years to make a game and it eats into the story like heck,great looking games tend to have very bad storylines...and $40-$60 a game bites enough as it is
@acid_snake
be weary of game stop referbs at about 8 to 13 months, they dont always remember all the thermal pads on the motherboard
but i support the NA 60 as well.!!!ROCK ON!!!
the backwards compatibility might be at launch but i see the ps4 easily being a $1000usd
just from the price range of the previous systems at launch, and BC is actually important at a systems start as sony needs people playing on the new console as much as possible to build the user base as they expand they're game library
and the ram dose seem odd, maybe 4 gb ram as game consoles dont need as much ram as computers as it doesn't have the background requirements from multiple programs running at ones,only runs the game when playing it
