No memory stick.

Does the hotshots golf HBL exploit work on a psp go (OFW 6.31) only if you have an external memory stick? Or can it work on the system memory?

It works from both the memory stick and the internal flash.

The HBL folder, the savegame and the game have to be on the same storage medium. So either all in flash or all on the memory stick.

Okay, I think that my problem is that I don't have the savegame file. I have the h.bin, the readme.txt, and the hbl folder. Is the savegame file somewhere in the hbl folder?

It is an extra download from e.g. here: http://wololo.net/wagic/half-byte-loade ... -6-306-31/. You need the file from "Hotshots Golf Exploit".

Silly me, I never read everything. I just downloaded the hbl I suppose, I went back to that page plenty of times also. *ramble ramble*

Anyway, I thank you for your help! HBL is working. :3

I look forward to seeing what else will be developed.

^.^ Can't wait for psx games. I've been dying to play Chrono Cross for years since my disk was scratched.

There might be hope for psx if someone could get old homebrews like PSX-P Beta 1 working on HBL. But, it probably won't happen.

If you love the game so much it might be worth it for you to buy the PSN PSOne classic version of the game or invest in a hackable PSP.

We said it was unlikely and that we aren't working on it. Not that it would never happen. As far as I know, no team started to work seriously on this.
If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

hey ive never tried this (might work with psx stuff) download jcpsp, its a jar psp emulator, and try to run it w/ pspkvm, maybe it'll run psp iso's and maybe (more doubtful) psx iso's.

i mean since it runs through jar it might work, if not it does work on your home comp :O
