Yup! I guess that explains the other crashes I was getting....JJS wrote:I guess you tried to run it through wMenu when you made that observation?

skinning!
here's a few pngs to emulate the XMB. Started with the PS3 XMB icons and replaced the dualshock design with the iconized PSP design. They appear all white pngs, but show correctly in the vmenu.
- I would do the PSP font, but I can't quite get the character map spacing just right.
- I did the loading png, but I don't know when it's supposed to appear, so I can't test it.
- I also don't have a homebrew that doesn't have an ICON0.PNG, so pls let me know if no_img.png is working properly!

also, there's a 3 attachment limit, so if you want to use the xmb background, here it is:

Beautiful work and thanks for this neur0n!
Sorry if I'm quite late for the party, I haven't followed the scene, HBL and the upcoming HEN for weeks... This due to my PSP being sent to the pawnshop... but hey, at least I got it back now so I'm just gonna sit back and watch how everything is progressing!

Re: [Release]VisualMenu for HBL v1.41 + Browse
Just tried this menu for the first time since revision 1.3 and the crashing problem I was experiencing now seems to be fixed. Great job.
However, on returning to the menu from a homebrew, the PSP/GAME/ directory is loaded up, rather than the one I've manually set through hbl_config.txt. Any fix for this?

This problem seems to occur on your PSP only...Mr. X wrote: However, on returning to the menu from a homebrew, the PSP/GAME/ directory is loaded up, rather than the one I've manually set through hbl_config.txt. Any fix for this?

R110. It's not really a huge problem, but it'd still be nice to not have to browse back to where my homebrew are every time I return to the menu.neur0n wrote:Which HBL revision did you use?
Edit: 1.5 doesn't have this problem. Everything seems to be working absolutely fine now. The perfect menu

Try Visual Menu v1.5.Mr. X wrote: R110. It's not really a huge problem, but it'd still be nice to not have to browse back to where my homebrew are every time I return to the menu.
It will show error message when failed to open folder.
example
Code: Select all
Failed to open folder(error code =0x********).
ms0:/PSP/GAME/......( custom directory path)
Try to open ms0:/PSP/GAME/

Re: [Release]VisualMenu for HBL v1.5 + Browse
Read my edit: I upgraded to 1.5 and now it works fine. I'm not sure what was causing the problem before, but it's fixed now. Now I can finally enjoy this menu as it was intended. Thank you
.
