It's very easy to change the amount of homebrew that the menu can display, although it'd have to be done by neur0n as he hasn't released the source code. Maybe there's a reason he hasn't increased the 40 limit?

Congrats on the menu, nuer0n! With some extra work, I'd choose this over the XMB :D

Now I'm so torn between vMenu and wMenu that we might need a random menu function :lol:
I've just tried it.. VERY NICE, But needs more improvements to look more like the XMB,
such as:
- A white border around the selected homebrew, (a highlight)
- A sound effect when scrolling between items would be cool.. :mrgreen:
- A boot screen is cool too.. (You can make it optional) (A configuration file would be very nice -Such as the HBL one-)
- An acceleration for the buttons (When you keep a button pressed it moves to the next homebrew, stops a bit, then continues scrolling till the button is released)
- Showing PIC1.PNG as a background..
- An animated GIF image of a scrolling bars (With a look of the XMB) would be nice too..
- Playing SND0.AT3 ROX !!

As for me, I would appreciate if you could make the menu give us a choice of names: built-in or folder names. I prefer my neat folder names personally :)
I would stick with this project, nuer0n, it has so much potential :D

Anybody else having problems when returning to this menu from a homebrew? I've only tried it with NesterJ and SMS+, but both times it says something like "couldn't open game directory" and then I either have to quit to the XMB or press X/O for the PSP to crash and power off :?.

Nope works great here on my psp 3k 6.20

Hmm, no idea what's up then. I get the message "ERROR could not open game folder", with the directory I was last in written behind it e.g.: "ms0:/PSP/HOMEBREW/Emulators/".

Nope haven't had that problem. I use a PSP 3000 v6.20 with Patapon 2 HBL Rev 109 and the only issue i noticed is a distinct popping sound that follows the "click" sound. I've had this popping sound occur in my programs as well, no idea why :?

Yeah I have the same prob. : = / but I'm sure he will fix that.

The cause is?perhaps, Directory open error.
