But just as Mr. X pointed, I too keep my homebrews in other directories (orgainsed), so this is a major letdown (IMO)

You know that is missing to all of the menus?
Is music, please try to make a folder in menu like menu/music and there can be loaded what music we want, another idea is to load music from ms0:\music.
I have another idea ... the ability to organize the homebrews, into folders or int alphabetical order.
Please say that is a good idea, or not because i have plenty of ideas.

But when TN HEN gets released, I think I should be able to open the actual wMenu of the HBL from the XMB (copy the eboot) and launch my homebrews from that instead.... <as i said just a thought, I am not sure how this may turn out>

wMenu can't do anything without HBL.. It's just a menu (It doesn't have the ability to run homebrews, It sends a command line to HBL to run the selected homebrew)

Although I was running 5.03 CFW, But I've never used a plug in, I guess Game Categories plug in does the job of sorting homebrews..

i definitely think it sucks if you can't organize your homebrew, scrolling down a gigantic list seems like a waste of time.

Yes, But I noticed that also the classic HBL menu shows only 40 homebrews !! Weird !!

You shouldn't demand him to add changes to fit your needs.
I'm sure he has plenty of other projects that are more important than this.
