Requests

This can be a thread for requests to the devs on what will make HBL better.

@wololo can you allow hbl to load .prx?

If some one will post request here such as emus, games and applications, I think its better to test it first with the debug version of the hbl then post the request along with the dblog. At least a small help for the devs

use the debug version of hbl and run the desired homebrew ( it will load much slower than regular hbl because of the creation of the dblog ) after crashing or getting an error on the desired emu, check your psp ms root and open hbl folder. you will see a dblog. Copy it and attach it in your request.

We already have issues on the SVN Google Code page. Also requests here will be too vague or imprecise for the devs to work it out (like "make this homebrew work for me, plzzzz").

About the PRX loading, HBL already loads PRXs (or otherwise most homebrews would not run). And anyways, this is one of the highest pending issues on the SVN issues. This is an example on how user requests are useless because they actually don't know what they're talking about, or just repeat already existing/denied issues.

Finally, HBL is open source for a reason: if you want it to do something, do it yourself. If you're not willing to learn to do it, then why other people will? And besides, devs are already busy with other issues and also have a private life to take care of.

This thread is completely useless IMO.

I think so too. The testing thread is much more applicable since it involves compatibility in a game or apps. This thread is not needed any more.

As m0skit0 and grewolf said.
The concept of "requests" for HBL doesn't make any sense.

We know what we want HBL to do: run all homebrews that can run on a CFW.
We know that there are limits to this, such as homebrews that require kernel access.

The rest are not requests, but bug reports. For that, we have the googlecode issues list.
If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

point proven, either way as wololo or moskito said before not sure who it was, but HBL should not be the one to adapt to the homebrew the homebrew creator should make there projects adaptable to HBL.

Which probably won't happen but maybe some creators will be generous enough todo so.

It would be EPIC if a computer programmer could somehow make an application and from there it could replace lines in homebrew that HBL cannot load due to it being user-mode, to other commands and add some other lines to make it compatible, then repackage the eboot and VIOLA! A converter kernel to user-mode homebrew.
