[Help]How to play Pokemon on a GBA emulator, step by step?

Post by samrux »

My firmware version is 6.60. My PSP isn't "hacked", so i need HBL. I think r113 or r118 is needed for this version.

Can somebody tell me, step by step, how i can use an emulator for this? I've tried EVERYTHING. When i try to run HBL it just closes itself. With firmware 6.60, i can't use any exploit, so i think HBL should be enough, but it doesn't works! What should i do? Then, what Game Boy Advance emulators are the most recent and stable for me? As i said, i want to play Pokemon, more specifically RedFire and Emerald.

Thanks.

Update:
Ok, now it works perfectly. I had r113, but i needed r118. Now, the problem is, none of my emulators work! That's what i need now.

Why don´t you use kernel hen. You can use a ofw gba-emu? Not sure which one is working with hbl 118, i´m sure you can find one.
