Is there a way to organize "game folder"?

Half Byte loader is an open source tool to load homebrews on all models of PSPs
Half Byte Loader can be downloaded at http://wololo.net/wagic/hbl

Is there a way to organize "game folder"?

Post by slymeLV99 » Mon Jan 24, 2011 12:55 pm

Hi, I am currently using HBL R113 on a PSP Go (6.31) and was wondering if there is a way to organize my "game folder".
I have many PSN Games, homebrews and emulators. The best I could so far is sort them by type using PSP Content Manager, but scrolling down a gigantic list is not very practical.
Is it possible to organize them in subfolder (like PSP/GAME/Emulators) or something?

Look for the various menus available for HBL. Some offer more features than wMenu (wololo's menu for HBL).

Thanks for the answer but the menu only works after you load HBL, right?
I looking for a way to keep my game folder organized "permantlly" without the need to load hbl. I want the game folder to be organized as soon as turn on my Psp Go.
I only use HBL to play emulator since my homebrews are all signed.

Yes, because you're asking on "Half Byte Loader" forum

If you don't use a HEN/CFW, then no, there's not. OFW comes with what you see, nothing more.

You can use PSP Content Manager to rearrange games. You can't make them display in categories or anything like that, but you can change the order they appear in.

Also: One idea would be to use the signed HBL to load all your homebrew. This way you can have your homebrew in a different folder (e.g. ms0:\PSP\HOMEBREW), and none of it will show up in your PSPs XMB. This helps keep things organized, and means more homebrew will work (I think), and homebrew doesn't need to be signed.
