Haha no indeed I've kept my psp in brand new condition for way to long to screw it up now!

Edit: Whats the advantage to running the CIPL thing as opposed to not running it?

CIPL flashes a custom IPL to your NAND so you will not have to keep booting up the PRO B10 eboot. Without it, you will have to reinstall it after every coldboot/crash, which takes about ten seconds.

So I don't really need to do the CIPL thing if I don't mind the 10 sec load?

As he has stated. The only difference is the few seconds. I use the same cfw as you can see on my sig, but I can't use the CIPL since mine is the 3k model. IMO I don't mind the few seconds.

On the guide I looked at to install it the person says that it's something you don't need and it adds more risk to bricking. So I think I'm gonna hold off on that for now. I can always do it later right?

Yes, you can do that later if you change your mind. Just run the CIPL flasher eboot after copying it to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME/" folder.
How's the progress on running your emulator?

Well it works really good, although there was a moment there I got worried cause a bunch of colored bars/dots were dead smack in the middle of the screen. Other then that though it's great! ^_^ Thanks for all of ya'lls help! ^_^
