BTW gpSP-J worked perfectly, menu and all, for me with sukkiri using 6.20 on my psp 3001, and on psp 1001 fw 6.35 also using sukkiri(obviously).

If It's gpSP with full screen that you want, then it is gpSPkai that you want. gpSP-J lacks full screen support. You can re-enable the home button in the gpSPkai menu under the option "misc" there is an option that says "free home button", set it to yes. This should fix that. I personally recommend 3.4 because it has much better rom support, and its also much more stable.
