I own a psp 3004 g09 with permanent 6.20 pro c-2 installed on it, but this bug has been happening to me ever since the original pro release and throughout all of its iterations. Everything seems to work really fine, except games with voice acting. Those are giving me some headaches. When voices are playing, randomly they cut out, for example a character could be halfway through a sentence when suddenly the voice cuts, killing any kind of music as well and leaving only the sound effects playing. This would not be a huge problem, but during a cutscene in FF crisis core, once the voice gets cut out (start of chapter 5 when you meet Aerith) somehow the subtitles starts to scroll at insane speed (the animations still play at a normal speed) making it impossible to read what is going on. I thought that might be related to me running the cpu at 333mhz, so I restored that to the default settings, but no success.
The only thing that seems to affect this somehow, it's the "UMD ISO MODE" option, by changing between M33, Inferno and Sony NP9660 seems to make the issue occur at different points (either earlier or later on in the dialogue) but it ALWAYS occurs. I tried to recreate the iso several times and tested the iso using PPSSPP and the scenes plays fine on it, but on psp I have those annoying audio cut outs. Those also happen on Dissidia 012. Anyone has any idea on how to fix it?
